At Mini Mozarts, at least one adult is required to participate in the session alongside your baby or toddler.
Our group Musical Theatre classes are drop-off classes, although we invite family and friends in to watch a short showcase of what we've been working on at least once a term. There is a small waiting area at the Trinity Centre which you are welcome to stay in for the duration of the class. You are equally welcome to drop off and go and run some errands, or simply have a cup of tea in peace!
Hopefully, lots of fun - whichever class you're trying.
At our group musical theatre classes, we ask you to have completed the registration form ahead of the session. Abby will be on hand to meet you and say hi, and there are usually a happy bunch of students ready to welcome you in with open arms! No matter when you start in the term, you'll be able to join in with all of our fun games and resources. We usually start with a fun warm-up game followed by a physical and vocal wamr-up and then we move onto learning, rehearsing and perfecting our resources. Sometimes we'll focus on one song, other times we might cover a few different items in one lesson. There's always time for games and activities designed to help develop both social and performance skills.
At Mini Mozarts, the space is usually ready 5-10 minutes before the session so you're welcome to come in and find a spot around the mats. Abby will be available to have a chat and introduce you to the venue. We'll then sing our "Hello" song, introduce the theme and get stuck into the class. The theme and activities vary every week but you can always expect a wide range of music, real percussion instruments to play, bubbles, lots of singing and an upbeat movement song to end the session.
Our group classes can be booked in blocks of 10 at £75 plus a 5% booking fee (£7.50 per session) or at the single session rate of £8.50. Term block bookings will also be charged at £7.50 per session. Private lessons start at £20.
Mini Mozarts classes start at £6.75 per session, with siblings always invited to attend for free. You pay per family. Discounts may be available when booking a half term of sessions.
Our Llandudno group classes are held every Wednesday at Trinity Centre, Trinity Avenue.
Mini Mozarts classes are held at Craig y Don Community Centre, Queen's Road every Monday morning and in St John's Church, Rydal, Pwllycrochan Avenue every Wednesday.
We are currently seeking additional venues for Mini Mozarts in Conwy, Denbighshire and Gwynedd as well as a potential second Llandudno venue for our Musical Theatre classes. We always keen to hear of suggested venues across North Wales to offer more group classes.
Private classes can be held at your home, online (over Zoom) or at one of our group venues - following classes.

LAMDA exams are designed to develop your life skills, such as clear communication, self-confidence and teamwork, through the creative platforms of drama, literature and music.
Over a hundred thousand people take LAMDA Exams every year, from all over the world, and from all cultures, backgrounds and abilities. There is no age limit - and there are no access requirements beyond your own enthusiasm and passion.
There are lots of reasons to take a LAMDA Exam. The one we hear about most often from our learners is confidence. By developing their communication skills our learners are improving their levels of self-assurance, confident in the knowledge that they can articulate their thoughts and ideas, and importantly make their voice heard.
Other benefits include reading fluency, a broader vocabulary, enhanced memory and recall, improved English language skills and the ability to structure an argument.
Once you have passed a LAMDA Exam, you will have earnt a qualification that is recognised all over the world that you can use to add to your CV, resume or university application. You can even earn UCAS points to help with university entry.
It is recommend by LAMDA that students complete at least 20 hours of coaching time, in addition to their own private rehearsal before taking an exam. Should you be working towards an exam, we would look to secure the date well in advance.
There are currently no Public LAMDA centres in North Wales. The closest is in Manchester so we are currently in talks with LAMDA about setting North Wales Academy of Music and Drama up as a Private Centre, meaning we can offer LAMDA exams locally.
That is absolutely fine. Regardless of whether or not children choose to take LAMDA exams, they can still all benefit from partaking in the performing arts with us at North Wales Academy of Music & Drama.
